Research Interests
My research focuses on investigating the pathological mechanisms, progression process, and discovery of biomarkers of various neurodegenerative diseases, especially Alzheimer’s Disease, using computational biology methods. I study genetic risk factors (i.e., structural variations, SNPs, and causal genes) of neurodegenerative diseases by large-scale omics integration. My goal is to identify molecular targets and pathways for the clinically effective treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. My research covers:

  1. Detection of genome-wide genetic variants (including CNVs, SVs, SNPs) affecting neurodegenerative diseases, especially Alzheimer’s disease.
  2. Multi-omics integration of neurodegenerative diseases, including whole genome sequencing, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolic analysis.
  3. Deciphering genetic differences of neurodegenerative diseases in different human populations.
  4. Using single-cell sequencing and spatial transcriptomic techniques to decipher pathological mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases.
