Professor He focuses on the basic and clinical research on peripheral vascular diseases, e.g. Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, Thoracic Aortic Dissection, Peripheral Arterial Diseases (PAD), Carotid Artery Stenosis, venous and arterial thrombus, et al.

Stem cell transplantation for ischemic limb:

  • The basic research on endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) and clinical transplantation of activated bone marrow stem cells in ischemic limb

Diabetes:

  • AGEs on EPCs and the pathogenesis of diabetes foot
  • AGEs on the calcification of arterial vessels
