A delegation from the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, led by its director Gao Fu, recently visited the University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) and was warmly received by FHS Dean Chuxia Deng. During the visit, Deng told the guests about the faculty’s various facilities and research development. Both parties exchanged ideas on disease prevention as well as treatment, and discussed opportunities for research collaboration in the future. Members of the delegation also visited the faculty’s Cancer Centre and Animal Facility.
