Research Interests
My research focuses on the crosstalk between perivascular cells and the endothelium, the developmental implications and the related pathological conditions. I have a broad background in vascular biology and cancer biology, with particular expertise in vascular permeability and cancer immunology. My current interests include: (1) unraveling vascular development and diseases using cutting-edge techniques; (2) deciphering macrophage heterogeneity within the tumor microenvironment; (3) investigating the biology and pathology of RNA helicases; (4) AI-powered drug discovery for vascular diseases and oncology. Our research involves the use of a variety of animal models and cutting-edge techniques in molecular and cell biology, physiology and genetics.
