Research Interests
We used nonlinear optical microscopy and spectroscopy to discover optical markers for medical diagnosis. Our lab focused on the following research directions:

  1. Visualize cell death and aging dynamics with aggregated DNA fluorescence
  2. Develop blood fluorescent metabolomics for the diagnosis of acute illness
  3. Visualize tumor microenvironment with multiphoton nano-biophotonics
  4. Develop third-harmonic-generation imaging cytometry
