| Abstract | Using multidisciplinary approaches involving functional anatomy, biochemistry and molecular biology, we try to understand the mechanisms responsible for hypokinesia feature of parkinsonian syndromes, its response to L-Dopa and its complications such as dyskinesias Dopa-induced (DDI), as well as the mechanisms leading to neuronal death in these disorders. Our work involves analysis of the behavior and brain of rodents, non-human and human primate to establish correlations. |
