Mr. Kam Fai KOU, Principal of Pui Ching Middle School Macau, held a meeting with FHS Dean Chuxia DENG for expressing appreciation for the support provided by FHS for the Pui Ching students in participating in and winning a gold medal at the International Genetic Engineered Machine (iGEM) Competition.
Prof. Deng warmly received Mr. Kou and introduced the latest developments, academic programmes, research achievements and the internationalization of FHS. Prof. Deng also briefed Mr. Kou the “4+X” Joint Programme with University of Toronto, through which students can pursue a degree for becoming a medical doctor in addition to the bachelor’s degree conferred by the University of Macau.
Mr. Kou praised FHS for its effort in cultivating of high-calibre professionals through the outstanding team of faculty members. Mr. Kou expressed his hope for broadening the collaboration with FHS that leads to further cooperation in the science promotion projects.
Prof. Tzu-Ming LIU, Prof. Ruiyu XIE, Prof. Leo Tsz On LEE, Prof. Vivien Ya-Fan WANG as well as the Chemistry Coordinator of Pui Ching Middle School Macau also attended the meeting.
