“4+X” Programme

UM and University of Toronto (UT) have signed a collaborative agreement on the launch of a “4+X” Programme.  The graduates of the Programme will be awarded a degree of Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the UM (Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences for students admitted in academic year 2017/2018 or 2018/2019, Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with Specialization in Medicinal Science for students admitted in academic year 2019/2020 onwards) and a degree of Bachelor of Medicine from the UT.

“2+4” Programme

UM and Zhejiang University (ZJU) have signed a collaborative agreement on the launch of a “2+4” Programme.  The graduates of the Programme will be awarded a degree of Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the UM (Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences for students admitted in academic year 2017/2018 or 2018/2019, Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with Specialization in Medicinal Science for students admitted in academic year 2019/2020 onwards) and a degree of Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the ZJU.  Currently, this Programme is only eligible for overseas students, yet, the UM will coordinate with the ZJU and other units concerned for extending the scope to Macao, HK and Taiwan students.

“3+2” Programme

The Faculty is actively discussing with other top universities for establishing joint undergraduate programmes.  Currently, the Faculty is working with a well-known university in United Kingdom for a food and nutritional science programme as the second degree.

IAESTE Internship Exchange Programme

The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) is an independent non-governmental organization, with 83 members and co-operating Institutions in operational relations with UNESCO.  IAESTE China/Macao SAR is administered by the Global Affairs Office.
