The University of Macau’s (UM) Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) received a generous donation from the International Ladies Club of Macau (ILCM), and this is their second donation to FHS for supporting the breast cancer research. A cheque presentation ceremony was held at UM, in which the delegation led by Ms. Anna Preece, the President of ILCM, was warmly received by FHS Dean Chuxia DENG, the project leader of breast cancer research, and Ms. Cindy LAM, Director of Alumni and Development Office. Prof. Deng introduced his team members, and also the latest progress and the recent research breakthroughs of breast cancer research of FHS to the representatives of ILCM. Prof. Dean also expressed his sincere gratitude to ILCM for their continued support and thought that the donation was an encouragement for the FHS researchers to thrive and contribute to the advancement of breast cancer research for the betterment of society.
