2026 FHS Student Association – ‘Broad Mind Cabinet 瀚思閣’

The 2026 FHS Student Association (FHSSA), ‘Broad Mind Cabinet’, is committed to becoming a solid bridge between students and schools, with the aim of ‘serving students, gathering strength, and pursuing excellence’. FHSSA adheres to the principle of caring for every student and strives to create a campus environment full of tolerance and support, helping students to continuously move forward on their academic and personal growth paths. FHSSA will actively listen to classmates’ suggestions, solve the problems they encounter in learning, life, and campus activities, and provide rich opportunities for academic and extracurricular activities to enhance students’ sense of cohesion and belonging.

President – Qiulin CHEN

Qiulin is a Year 2 student in the BSc in Biomedical Sciences programme, previously served as a member of the FHSSA’s General Affairs Department. Academically, she has a strong interest in neuroscience, and is keen to connect with fellow students sharing similar academic passions. In her spare time, she enjoys modern dance and guitar, and is open to exploring more styles and musical genres. Though she may appear reserved at first, she is warm-hearted and looks forward to collaborating with all students to enhance faculty life through a united and engaged FHSSA.

Vice President – Lancin, Cheok In LI

Lancin is a Year 2 student in the BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology programme. She joined FHSSA in her first year as a member of Publicity Department, responsible for poster design, creative materials, and social media content writing. As Vice President, she hopes to strengthen communication between FHS and its students, fostering a cosy learning and activity environment, and share meaningful moments with her peers.

Vice President – Zixun JIN

Zixun is a Year 2 student in the BSc in Bioinformatics programme. He also joined FHSSA in his first year, working in the Finance Department. He hopes to apply his previous experience to contribute further to FHSSA’s development and to create a bridge for communication among students in FHS.

Head of Event Planning Department – Xinyu ZHANG

Xinyu is a Year 2 student in the BSc in Biomedical Sciences programme. Since taking office, she has been committed to maintaining the original characteristics of FHSSA’s signature events while actively promoting innovation. She plans and organises a diverse range of activities aimed at enriching students’ cultural experiences beyond the classroom, promoting a balance between study and life, and create a positive, lively, and united campus atmosphere.

Head of Publicity Department – Wendy, Ho Ka SHI

Wendy is a Year 2 student majoring in BSc in Bioinformatics. She was also a member of the Publicity Department last year, assisting with the promotion of various FHSSA activities, including creative poster design, drafting promotional materials, and publishing official press releases. As the Head of the Publicity Department, she believes that beyond completing core tasks in event publicity, the department can further enhance its efforts in many aspects, such as social media management, creative communication, internal team coordination, and campus resource integration. She hopes that in the coming year, every team member can leverage their strengths and collaborate as one to drive the department towards higher-quality development.

Deputy Director of Publicity Department – Bonnie, Xue XIA

Bonnie is a Year 2 student majoring in BSc in Biomedical Sciences. Having served in the Publicity Department for two years, she has supported poster production, promotional writing, and publicity for Faculty events. As Deputy Director, the department should continue to strengthen its foundation in content development while also emphasising innovation, diversification of communication channels, and effective team collaboration. She will fully support the director in coordinating the department and work together with all members to deliver high quality promotional outcomes and contribute to the department’s continued growth.

Head of Finance Department – Jianing WANG

Jianing is a sophomore student majoring in BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology programme, and will serve as the Head of the Finance Department, responsible for reviewing budget applications and ensuring the proper use of funds. She notes that her work has not only strengthened her understanding of professional financial practices, but has also enhanced her teamwork skills and her ability to handle unexpected situations effectively. She believes this experience has helped her feel more connected to the faculty and has fostered a stronger sense of belonging.

Head of General Affairs Department – Hei Un Jacqueline WONG

Jacqueline is a sophomore majoring in BSc in Biomedical Sciences. She has progressed from just a member to Director, and she believes that strengthening internal cohesion within the division, as well as extending this unity to the association, is vital. Through effective and open communication, and by building internal and external connections, she hopes to foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that encourages growth across the entire association.

The 2026 FHSSA Broad Mind Cabinet has officially commenced its new term. The cabinet looks forward to the continued strengthening of communication between students, academic staff, and peers. We believe that the new association will launch more creative and impactful initiatives in the coming academic year, cultivate a more connected campus community, and provide comprehensive support for students’ learning and daily life.
