Over 140 researchers participated in the “6th Symposium on Biomedical Sciences for Students, Postdoctoral Fellows and Research Assistants” which was held by the University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) on 6 April. There were nine selected talks and 60 research posters in Cancer and Stem Cell, Genomics, Bioinformatics and Bioimaging, Development, Aging and Neuroscience, Drug Discovery and Biotechnology, Immunology and Infectious Diseases, and Public Health.

He hoped that more and more researchers can take this precious chance to increase their research output and practice the research presentation skills, and consequently to grow and get benefits during the symposium.
At the closing, FHS Associate Dean (Teaching) Guokai CHEN congratulated the nine winners of the speeches and 12 winners of the posters. He praised the organization committee for their great effort, and said that the the symposium strengthened the participants’ competitiveness by presenting the research talks and posters.
