The Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) of the University of Macau (UM) celebrated the holiday season with its Christmas Party at Legend Palace Hotel, Macau Fisherman’s Wharf. The event brought together around 120 faculty members and their families for an evening of joy, laughter, and camaraderie.

The celebration featured a warm welcome address by FHS Dean Chuxia DENG, who expressed appreciation for the dedication and achievements of all the faculty members throughout the years. Dean Deng also shared exciting news that FHS will be upgraded to the Faculty of Medicine, marking a significant milestone in the faculty’s development. He expressed confidence that the faculty will continue to excel and achieve remarkable success in the future.

Following the speech, a toasting ceremony was held, led by Dean Deng together with Associate Deans Hanming SHEN and Ren-He XU, and Assistant Dean Lijun DI. The toast symbolised unity and shared aspirations for the coming year, setting a festive tone for the evening.

Guests enjoyed a sumptuous buffet dinner and participated in interactive games, including Bingo and Joyful Treasure Grab, which added laughter and energy to the celebration. Lucky winners walked away with festive prizes, adding extra excitement to the evening. The evening concluded in a warm and festive atmosphere, with joy and laughter filling the venue as the celebration came to a close.
