A delegation led by Deputy Director of Guangdong Academy of Sciences Dingqiang LI, visited the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS), University of Macau on 10 March. They were warmly received by FHS Associate Dean (Research) Ren-He XU.
Prof. Xu oriented the guests the latest developments, academic programmes, research achievements, the cultivation of high-calibre students and the internationalization of FHS. Then he guided the guests to the aquatic room and the rodent room of the Animal Research Core and also Proteomics, Metabolomics and Drug Development Core. FHS Associate Professor, Terence Chuen Wai POON, Senior Instructor, Li WANG and Operation Manager, Zheyu CAI briefed the delegation on the facilities and services of the cores.
After the lab tour, Prof. Xu conducted a presentation for the guests about the progress and the accomplishments of the research of FHS, particularly the precision cancer research. Both parties had an in-depth discussion and expressed their intension to develop close friendship and collaboration and looked forward to work out the official cooperation in the near future.
