Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with specialization in Pharmaceutical Science and Technology

Programme Description

Pharmaceutical science is an interdisciplinary field that integrates fundamental principles of chemistry, biochemistry and biology to understand all aspects of drugs, and translates this integrated understanding into new and improved therapies against human diseases.

 

The graduates are well equipped with the generic, subject-specific and transferable knowledge and skills suited to a career in the pharmaceutical industry, drug laboratory-based scientific disciplines. Pursuing further post-graduate studies or professional studies such as pharmacy are also popular options for graduates.
