The research teams of the University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) are actively carrying out industry-academia research under the support of the Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT) to assist in the development of International Center of Science and Innovation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. One of them is the team led by Prof. Renhe XU, Associate Dean (Research) of FHS, who has optimised the treatment of diabetic foot (DFU) with Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) through cross-regional studies.
