Introduction of the Forum

Introduction of the Forum

Friends of Health is an academic forum that brings together internationally renowned scholars, including Nobel laureates and academicians of national and international academies, who have established long standing professional and collaborative relationships with the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Macau. Organised as part of the University’s 45th Anniversary celebrations, the forum provides a platform to foster scholarly exchange and to recognise the enduring academic friendships that have supported the Faculty’s development.
The forum features a series of keynote presentations delivered by distinguished experts across biomedical and health science disciplines. Through these presentations and interactive discussions, speakers will share insights from their latest research and explore emerging directions in health related scientific innovation.
In addition to the keynote sessions, the forum includes a poster session showcasing research by members of the University of Macau community. This component offers an opportunity for students and researchers to present their work, engage directly with visiting scholars, and participate in meaningful academic dialogue.
By convening leading scientists alongside faculty members and students, Friends of Health aims to promote intellectual exchange, encourage collaboration, and strengthen connections within the global health sciences community.
