Prof. Chuxia DENG, Dean of the University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) and Prof. Hanming SHEN, Department Head of FHS have been distinctly recognised in the 2023 Best Scientists Ranking announced by Research.com. Prof. Deng topped the list in the area of biology and biochemistry among all the Chinese scientists and ranked 151st globally while Prof. Shen ranked 24th in China. These results exemplify the strong fundamentals in the scientific field and the research excellence in the international arena of both professors.
